Super Duplex UNS S32707 / EN.1.4658 is a super duplex stainless steel. Its pitting corrosion equivalent PREN value is usually >40, and it has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The heat treatment process usually includes solution treatment and aging treatment. Solution treatment is usually carried out at 1150-1200℃, followed by water quenching or air cooling to obtain the best corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Aging treatment is used to further improve the strength and corrosion resistance of the material. The alloy is widely used in chemical, petroleum, seawater desalination, papermaking and energy industries, especially in corrosive environments such as hot chlorinated seawater and high acid, high chlorine environments, oil and gas extraction, and flue gas desulfurization.
